Registration for Touch Rugby Ages 4-10
Touch Rugby players will have 2 options this season: Ages 4-7 Touch and the more advanced group Ages 6-10 Touch. All Touch Rugby players will ONLY have to register with the club. YOU DO NOT NEED TO REGISTER WITH USA RUGBY. Practices will begin in January for both groups. CLICK HERE to register and download the TeamSnap app.
Registration for Tackle Rugby U10-U19
In order to play Tackle Rugby, each player must complete a 2-step registration process:
STEP ONE: REGISTER WITH OUR CLUB
All players must register with our club using the Team Snap App in order to be rostered and to stay up-to-date on all team communication. This is also where you will order the “team kit.” Team registration covers the cost of running the club from pre-season(Oct) through post-season (May). This registration should be done ASAP in order to ensure you get your kit in time for the season. Click the link above to register and download the TeamSnap app.
STEP TWO: REGISTER WITH USA RUGBY
U10-U19 (HS) players must also register with USA Rugby under a process called the Club and Individual Participation Program (or CIPP) before they can even begin to attend any tackle training, scrimmage, or play in any regular season game.
The registration fee covers USA Rugby’s Liability Insurance and it also includes a levy from the local youth union in AZ (Rugby Arizona) to cover state-wide administration and promotion of the game costs.
How To Register with USA Rugby (Tackle Players ONLY!)
- Go to USA Rugby website
- Enter Email (If new, set up an account. Returning Players need to use the same email as last year.)
- Under “Play Rugby,” Click on “Find a Club”
- Select Your Player
- “Which Club would you like to register to?” Enter: “Red Mountain Knights”
- Role: “Player” and Registration Type: “Youth” and Duration: “Season”
- Complete registration and payment
- Email a copy of the paid receipt and the player’s CIPP number assigned for the current season to RMYRugby@gmail.com
